Surfing in Enniscrone

With over two miles of excellent surfing conditions on one of the cleanest and safest beaches in Ireland, the surf schools in the area can cater for individuals groups, as well as providing Kids Surf Camps in the summer.

Wet And Wild Water Women - May 7th & 8th 2011

7/8 May, Enniscrone, Co Sligo- our annual women’s surfing weekend, Wet and Wild Water Women is a surfing weekend that provides women with an opportunity to meet and share information and advice on surfing while introducing newcomers in an all female environment. The event brings women of all ages and surfing abilities together in a celebration of women’s surfing in Ireland.

Kite Surfing

One of the fastest growing sports in Ireland, Enniscrone is one of the most popular locations for Kite Surfers of all ages. With onshore winds (10 to 35+ knots), Enniscrone provides a good launch area, which is suitable for kite surfing. Since kite surfing relies heavily on favorable, consistent wind conditions it’s no wonder Enniscrones has become popular with kite surfer’s and  kite boarders.

Enniscrone with it’s inshore winds provides an ideal location for amature and enthusiasts of this very popular sport. Like kite surfing Enniscrones  beach location provides an ideal area for the sport.
